SERVING THOSE IN NEED
PRHeSS
PRHeSS was founded in 2007 by Samuel Kormoi MD and his wife Mary RN in response to the devastation that resulted from the brutal civil war in Sierra Leone that lasted from 1991 - 2002. PRHeSS is dedicated to improving sanitation, providing quality healthcare services and promoting human empowerment through education and economic development. We strive to restore hope and dignity to present and future generations of rural Africans. africanhopeanddignity.org
NSUMC has been associated with PRHeSS from its inception. We have supported the building of the clinic and have participated in all of PRHeSS efforts. NSUMC hosts the PRHeSS Annual Dinner and has several NSUMC members serving on the Board.
